I am a graduate of Southaven High School.  I received my BSE in HPER from Delta State Universtity where I also played fastpitch softball for four years.

I began my teaching and coaching career in 1993 at Olive Branch High School.  While at Olive Branch I taught PE, Health, and Drug Education.  I also coached basketball and both slow and fastpitch softball.  In 2003, I moved to Baldwyn High School where I taught Daytreatment and coached both slow and fastpitch softball.  The next year I transferred to Booneville High School where I spent the next 8 years teaching PE, Health, and Driver's Education. I also spent a few years as an assistant basketball coach, but my primary responsibility was being the head fastpitch softball coach.  I am now beginning my 25th year in education and 6th year here at Hernando High School.  In addition to teaching Family and Conusmer Science classes, I will also be starting Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

I am married to Brad Boyette and we have three children; Lara (22), Asa (14), and Gabi (9).
