I graduated from Mississippi State with my bachelors in Physical Education in 2004 with certifications to teach Health, Social Studies and Biology. .
Experience
I started my teaching career at Horn Lake High School teaching Mississippi Studies, World Geography and US History. After 3 years at HLHS I transferred to Southaven Intermediate the year it opened in 2008. I spent the next 11 years teaching PE and Health and Fitness.
Bio
My name is Jason Ketchum and this is my first year teaching at Hernando High but my 16th in Desoto County. I have been married to my wife, Tiffany, for 17 years and have three amazing daughters. Clara Beth is 14, Kaylea is 11 and Vera Grace is 6. Tiffany is the Assistant Principal at Shadow Oaks Elementary in Horn Lake and all three of my daughters go to Hernando schools. I am an avid Mississippi State fan enjoy watching/playing sports, fishing/hunting, camping and hiking.
