Personal:

I love to read, sing karaoke, and spend time with my family. I am extremely active in the Community Theatre world of North Mississippi.  Some of my favorite roles include Demeter in Panola Playhouse's CATS, Mrs. Winifred Banks in Kudzu's Mary Poppins the Musical, Mother in Desoto Family Theatre's A Christmas Story the Musical, and most recently, The Narrator, in Panola Playhouse's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.I am also one of the biggest Disney fans you will ever meet. I have a beautiful daughter named Taygen Kate, and my husband is also a teacher/ coach that coaches basketball and football. We have two pomeranians (Zooey & Daisee), a miniature dachshund (Gertrude), an Australian shepherd (Rimee), and a very old cat (Boo).

A MESSAGE FROM MRS. SUDDOTH:

Meet Mrs. Suddoth

I am looking forward to teaching my students about the origins of the noble art of Theatre, how to refine new acting techniques, and how to oversee an entire production. Also, please do not worry. I am fully aware that all of my students may not enjoy basking in a stage spotlight as much as some of their peers. This is one of the main reasons why I want to incorporate the many different aspects of Theatre that often times are glazed over in many classes.

To prepare for this year, I polished the curriculum over the summer, and created an even paced learning guide that I believe will allow students to effectively develop a respect, if not a love, for the art of Theatre. I intend to make this a successful year in Theatre at Hernando High School. Please let me know if you all would be interested in assisting with the fall or spring productions in any way. There are many areas such as Lobby Design, House Manager, and Ushering for which I will need as much parental and student support as possible to make our productions the best they can be.

I look forward to meeting and working with you all. Let's have a great year together! Break a leg!
