About the Teacher
Education and Experience: I attended The University of Mississippi and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science Disorders with a minor in Psychology. After completing my degree, I entered The Teach Mississippi Institute's Alternate Route Teacher License Program and earned my certification in teaching in Special Education for mild to moderate disabilities in grades K-12.

Personal Info:I am a life-long resident of DeSoto County. I graduated from Horn Lake High School in 1987. My husband and I have 7 children together and 5 grandchildren. I was a self-contained Special Education Teacher for 3 school years at HLIS and have worked in DeSoto County for our local county government up until this school year.
