"We had a great opening Hernando Mayor's Youth Council meeting last Thursday night at City Hall with over 100 students present. Mayor Chip Johnson enjoyed his time with the group and appreciated their interaction - he believes these are the future leaders of our community! We are fortunate to have a Mayor, Board of Aldermen, and other local leaders who really love and care about the City of Hernando and its young people. Our MYC Student Executive Council did a great job preparing for this meeting and for the upcoming school year.
