Hernando High seniors, if you’re interested in becoming a utility line worker, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are launching our next Career Exploration Series focused on the Utility Line Worker pathway in partnership with Northcentral Electric Cooperative.
This 3-part series will allow selected students to explore careers in the utility field, learn about required training and certifications, and gain hands-on experience with industry tools and equipment. All sessions will be held in Olive Branch at Northcentral Electric Cooperative and their training facility, and students must be able to provide their own transportation.
Only two seniors will be selected to participate. A flyer with more details is posted on Schoology and the school website. If you’re interested, please see Mrs. Houston or Mrs. Wheeler. Deadline to express your interest is Friday, February 27th.
