The DeSoto County School District proudly launched its first Aviation Career Exploration Series, bringing together seniors from all eight high schools to explore careers in this critical industry. The first session included a behind-the-scenes tour of Memphis Airport and a visit to the University of Memphis Aviation Management program, where students experienced hands-on flight simulators.
This four-session series will continue with opportunities at Olive Branch Airport, local flight schools, aviation maintenance partners, and Delta State University, strengthening the pipeline and preparing students for high-demand aviation careers.
