Dual Credit Information Page

Hernando High School is proud to offer dual credit classes through Northwest Mississippi Community College and Delta State University. Students who dual enroll are able to earn college credits while still in high school, thereby giving them a “jump start” on their higher education.

Classes in English, mathematics, history, trigonometry, music, art and biology are among those taught in the dual enrollment program. Classes are either taught on our high school campus or online.  The classes that are taught on our campus are taught by our high school teachers, but these teachers must meet the same requirements that Northwest and DSU instructors do. Classes taught online are taught by Northwest or DSU teachers.

Please email Mrs. Garrison, dual credit counselor for more info.  candie.garrison@dcsms.org
